Bardstown Bourbon Co. Lochs of Jura Barrel Finish is a highly acclaimed, ultra-premium limited-edition release launched in August 2026. An exceptional cross-continental experiment, it takes a mature blend of American whiskey and rests it for an unusually long 32 months in single malt Scotch casks sourced from the remote Isle of Jura in Scotland.
The expression has already made a massive impact, capturing the highest American whiskey score at the 2026 International Wine & Spirit Competition (IWSC) with a near-perfect 99 points.
## 👃👅 Tasting Notes :
The extended 32-month finishing process does not overpower the underlying American whiskey; rather, it introduces a soft, complex maritime and orchard-fruit nuance that gently weaves into the robust bourbon-and-rye base.
